Job summary

BETA Technologies is seeking a Master Data and GD&T Analyst to help define the future of flight. You will work with a cross-functional team to bring radical aircraft to production and ensure high standards of quality and safety throughout ERP/PLM processes.

You will interpret drawings, analyze tolerances for manufacturability, and assist in change management within ERP systems, while supporting production planning and lifecycle management in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience or commensurate manufacturing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of PLM systems and ERP including SAP, Oracle, or Epicor.
  • Solid GD&T expertise per ASME Y14.5 and ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and change review processes.
  • Experience interpreting tolerances, revision history, and BOM references.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate review of engineering designs for aircraft systems.
  • Analyze GD&T tolerances for manufacturability and feasibility.
  • Examine engineering drawings and releases during the PLM/ERP release cycle.
  • Support lifecycle management from ideation to change implementation in ERP systems.
  • Define scope and create documentation for change management and implementation.
  • Use ERP to improve production processes and capabilities.

How You Will Contribute To Revolutionizing Electric Aviation
  • Facilitate review of new engineering design for aircraft systems
  • Analyze GD&T tolerances to determine design manufacturability
  • Analyze engineering drawings and releases to address errors during engineering release cycle in PLM
  • Assist in the coordination of product lifecycle management from product ideation to change implementation within ERP systems
  • Assist in defining scope and creation of documentation pertaining to change management and implementation
  • Use and maintain the current ERP system to improve production process and enhance production capability
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ Years experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment and a degree in an engineering discipline or commensurate experience in manufacturing
  • General understanding of PLM systems such as Smarteam, 3DX, Siemens and ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Epicor as well as an operational knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
  • Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analysis principles and their application to engineering change review
  • Ability to interpret and extract detailed information from engineering drawings, including tolerances, notes, revision history, and BOM references
  • Understanding of manufacturing capacity planning and machine shop operations, including machining processes, lead times, and resource constraints
  • Experience analyzing 3D scan and CMM measurement data to assess dimensional conformance and support engineering change decisions

  • 5+ Years experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
  • Plex ERP Experience
  • Exposure to rapid manufacturing growth, specifically with a startup

Compensation

$95,000—$115,000 USD
