Job summary

Steve Madden seeks a Manager, Master Data Governance to own enterprise data standards and ensure data integrity across divisions for ERP migration and ongoing entry at the corporate level. Based in LIC on-site, this role collaborates with users and partners to cleanse, transform, and validate data across migration waves.

The position requires 5+ years of ERP master data experience, strong data mapping skills, and ability to drive enterprise standards across decentralized teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of ERP master data management, data governance, or data conversion.
• Experience defining data mapping and conversion logic in ERP implementations.
• Strong understanding of product and merchandising master data.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce corporate master data standards for product, style, color, vendor, customer, and reference data.
• Own data mapping and conversion logic between legacy ERP platforms and Infor M3 CloudSuite.
• Lead data cleansing, transformation, and validation activities for each migration wave.
• Partner with consultants and business teams to execute data extraction, transformation, and loading cycles.
• Monitor master data quality metrics and implement controls to sustain data integrity.
• Provide guidance and training to business users on master data standards and data entry practices.
• Serve as corporate authority for master data readiness prior to ERP go-lives.
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed
