Job summary

Biorce is seeking an MDM & Data Governance Lead to drive our Data function from the Austin hub. This role ensures data remains trustworthy, consistent, and well-governed as the company scales, enabling faster, safer decisions across the business.

You will design governance from scratch, define data ownership, quality standards, and stewardship processes across teams, and partner with Data Architecture and Engineering to embed governance into the platform.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data governance, MDM, or data quality roles.
• Designed governance framework from scratch.
• Knowledge of data quality frameworks and metadata management.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and own Biorce's MDM strategy and data governance framework.
• Define data ownership, quality standards, and stewardship processes across teams.
• Build processes to detect and resolve data quality and consistency issues at scale.
• Partner with Data Architecture and Engineering to embed governance into the platform itself.
• Set and monitor data quality KPIs.
• Educate teams across the company on data governance best practices.
