Job summary

Wesco is seeking a senior Master Data Governance leader to own the integrity and governance of enterprise data across domains. You will establish frameworks, standards and an operating model, driving cross‑functional alignment and accountability with stakeholders across SBU, IT, Sales, and Finance.

You will build a team of data stewards and architects, report KPIs, and champion data accuracy culture while advancing AI enablement and continuous data quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Master Data Management certification or degree preferred.
• 10 years IT applications/operational experience; with 7 years in Master Data Domain.
• Experience building and leading a team from the ground up.
• Strong verbal and written communication, leadership and coordination skills.
• Graduate-level understanding of machine learning, statistics and AI concepts.
• Up to 25% travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement Master Data Governance principles, process, requirements and roadmap.
• Design and operate Master Data Domain Governance across Product, Customers, Suppliers and References.
• Establish standards, controls and automation techniques for data governance.
• Lead data stewards, governance specialists and architects.
• Set and monitor data quality rules, standards and stewardship practices.
• Report governance KPIs and data quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement of governance processes and cross‑functional coordination.
