Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Master Data Planner in the United States. The role focuses on creating and maintaining site-specific master data for materials, BOMs, and planning parameters in coordination with engineering, planning, and operations teams.

The candidate will ensure accurate material master settings across SAP, perform audits, and support BOM and cost analyses. Strong Excel and ERP experience, especially SAP, are required, with preferred aerospace industry background.

Qualifications

• University degree (or advanced degree) with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience (or 3 years with advanced degree).
• Experience with ERP material master and/or material master governance practices.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis, including pivot tables.
• Preferred aerospace industry experience, energetic management & planning experience, and knowledge of Bill of Materials structures.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update site-specific master data for materials, bills of materials, and planning parameters in coordination with site engineering, planning, and operations teams.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of material master settings across SAP and that material master configurations support site material planning strategies.
• Perform regular material master audits and data validation to identify and correct errors or gaps.
• Facilitate engineering change implementation and communication, driving and supporting quarterly BoM audits for assigned sites.
• Coordinate with site operations finance to assess impacts of master data changes on product costing.
• Support inventory evaluations through data analysis and drive continuous improvement to enhance accuracy and efficiencies.
