Job summary

Boise Cascade is seeking a skilled woodworker to construct custom-made doors to order. You will verify materials and dimensions, transport raw materials and finished products to machinery and storage, and maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA.

This role requires HS Diploma or GED or equivalent experience with woodworking, and typically more than seven years in related function. You may train others and participate in inventory replenishment as needed, contributing to safety,

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or five years equivalent work experience.
• Woodworking experience required.
• Typically more than seven years of experience in related job function.

Responsibilities

• Build custom-made doors to order.
• Check product and raw material specifications (lengths, angles, size).
• Transport raw materials and finished products to and from machinery, equipment, and storage area.
• Apply and understand mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.
• Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
• Follow safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
• May train others and ensure work is complete and built to order specifications.
• May be responsible for raw materials and finished goods inventory, and materials order replenishment.
• Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
