Job summary

Ace Handyman Services – Minneapolis, MN is hiring a Master Craftsman to lead residential repairs and remodeling projects with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

You will perform carpentry, drywall, painting, tile work, plumbing, and electrical tasks while mentoring junior craftsmen and coordinating small crews as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional handyman or skilled trades experience.
• Proficient in drywall, painting, tile, plumbing, electrical, and flooring.
• Experience leading small crews or projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete a wide range of residential handyman repairs and improvements.
• Perform carpentry, drywall repair, painting, tile installation, and general home maintenance.
• Handle basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Estimate small to medium remodeling projects.
• Lead and coordinate small crews when needed.
• Troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain professional communication with homeowners.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.

As a Lead Craftsman, you'll work on a variety of residential repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects while leading small jobs and delivering exceptional results for homeowners.

What You'll Do

Complete a wide range of residential handyman repairs and improvements

Perform carpentry, drywall repair, painting, tile installation, and general home maintenance

Handle basic plumbing and electrical repairs

Estimate small to medium remodeling projects

Lead and coordinate small crews when needed

What We're Looking For

5+ years of professional handyman or skilled trades experience

Strong knowledge of multiple trades, including:

Drywall

Painting

Tile

Basic Plumbing

Basic Electrical

Flooring

Project management or crew leadership experience preferred

Ability to diagnose and solve problems independently

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Professional appearance and positive attitude

Own tools appropriate for a variety of handyman projects

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Can handle 3-5 day jobs of Painting & Flooring Installs

Professional Craftsman +1 - Skilled in multiple trades. Has more extensive plumbing or electrical skills. Can troubleshoot in the field.

Start at $30/hr.

Full Electrical Knowledge & Tools

Can Measure for and Install Doors & Windows

Deck Repairs, Upgrades, and Builds

Can handle 5-10 day jobs of Upgrading Bathrooms & Kitchens

Can handle Tile Backsplash Installs or Tile Flooring

Professional Lead Craftsman - Skilled in all trades. Has more extensive plumbing or electrical skills. Can troubleshoot in the field. Can assist with oversight of other Handymen/Craftsmen.
