Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in home remodeling, maintenance, or skilled trades.
• Broad, hands-on proficiency in multiple trades, including carpentry, drywall, painting, and basic plumbing and electrical.
• Your own set of standard hand and power tools appropriate for residential handyman work.
• A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for traveling to local job sites.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• The ability to work independently, troubleshoot unexpected home repair issues, and manage your time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Complete diverse residential repairs and improvements, including carpentry, drywall patching, painting, tiling, and minor flooring work.
• Perform basic, non-licensed plumbing and electrical tasks, such as replacing light fixtures, ceiling fans, faucets, or garbage disposals.
• Assess customer projects, estimate time and materials for small to medium jobs, and explain options clearly to homeowners.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean workspace on every job site.
• Manage project timelines to ensure high-quality results are delivered efficiently.

At Ace Handyman Services, we help homeowners love their homes again. We are seeking a skilled Master Craftsman to join our team serving the Burke, Virginia community. Best of all, you will enjoy a consistent Monday-through-Friday schedule with absolutely no weekend work.

What Success Looks Like

On a day-to-day basis, you will travel to residential properties around the Burke area to complete a variety of medium-to-small home repairs, maintenance tasks, and improvements. You will work directly with homeowners to understand their needs, estimate small projects, and execute the work to a high standard.

Over time, success means becoming a trusted face in our local community. You will help build our reputation by consistently completing jobs on time, keeping work areas clean, and communicating clearly with customers. As a senior member of our field team, you will also help set the standard for quality and efficiency, occasionally leading small crews on multi-day projects.
