Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Master Technician to repair and maintain vehicles to dealer and factory standards in Spring Township, PA. You will diagnose issues, perform multi-point inspections, communicate with Parts and Service Advisors, and document work to ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Mopar / Stellantis Certifications required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training as needed by store.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair/maintenance per repair order to dealer and factory standards, driving customer loyalty.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend safety/reliability improvements.
• Document work performed on each vehicle and maintain tool inventory as needed.
• Keep up with factory bulletins and participate in training classes.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.

What We’re Looking For:

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards, to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with the Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and performing repair, if authorized by the Customer.
• Conducting multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure the safety and reliability of Customer vehicles.
• Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Maintaining an inventory of normal Technician’s tools not normally inventoried by the Service department as “special tools.”
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Providing an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty

The pay for this position is $59/flag + overrides. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
