Job summary

IntrepidGS is seeking a Structures Sub-AMP Manager in the United States, Philadelphia area. The role requires at least eight years of carpentry experience and a Journeyman or Master Carpenter certification. Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and can obtain a U.S.

passport (preferred). Security clearance (DoD Secret) is required. The job involves planning using blueprints, performing construction, repairs, and demolition tasks, and ensuring compliance with building codes and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Eight years of carpentry experience.
• Journeyman or Master Certified Carpenter.
• Possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• US Passport preferred.
• Residency visa for Jordan may be required.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints, sketches, and modification orders to plan the process and layout efficiently.
• Carpentry constructs, repairs, restores and installs structures (floors, doors, windows, stairs, furniture, cabinets, shelves).
• Builds forms, frames, ceilings and roofs with lumber, plywood, wafer board, sheetrock, steel studs, foam board, and cement board.
• Fabricates items according to designs, blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
• Repairs or reconstructs damaged wood stairs, floors, frames, rafters, joists, and trusses to codes.
• Repairs doors, roofs, ceilings, stairs, floors, windows, and roll-up doors.
• Cleans equipment, shop area, and job site; observes OSHA/AFOSH ES&H and fire regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
