Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Studies blueprints, sketches, or building plans for material quantities and dimensions.
• Prepares layout using framing square, calipers, and rules.
• Shapes materials with saws, chisels, and planes; assembles parts with nails and glue.
• Erects framework for structures and installs flooring, trim, and hardware as required.
• Covers subfloors and installs finishes such as hardwood and parquet panels.
• Verifies trueness of structures with plumb bob and level.
