Sawhorse Woodworking and Design in the Vail Valley is seeking a Journeyman and/or Master Cabinet Maker for a full-time, long-term position. Expect to design, build, and install custom cabinetry and fine furniture with exacting standards; you’ll work from shop drawings and collaborate with designers and clients.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, mastery of hand and power tools, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building custom cabinetry or fine furniture.
• Mastery of hand-tools and power-tools.
• Ability to read shop drawings and work from plans.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and install custom cabinetry and fine furniture.
• Execute traditional joinery and modern cabinetmaking methods.
• Mentor junior staff and maintain shop organization.
• Collaborate with clients, designers, and project team from concept to install.
