Rojahn Custom Cabinetry LLC in Dallastown, PA seeks a skilled Professional Cabinet Finisher to produce furniture-grade finishes on premium cabinetry and architectural millwork. The role emphasizes expert surface prep, precise spraying, and rigorous quality control to maintain our craftsmanship standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of cabinet finishing experience, a strong eye for color and sheen, and the ability to work with advanced finishing systems in a collaborative shop environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of cabinet finishing experience.
• Experience spraying premium cabinet coatings.
• Excellent sanding and preparation skills.
• Strong understanding of wood species.
• Ability to identify finish defects.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Maintain production quality standards.
• Dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Inspect components, sand, raise grain, repair imperfections, fill defects, prepare surfaces for stain/paint, mask components.
• Spray Finishing: Apply premium finishes including Conversion Varnish, 2K polyurethane, waterborne coatings, stains, sealers, topcoats.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate spray systems, booths, and related equipment.
• Quality Control: Inspect color, sheen, coverage, film build, texture, curing; perform touch-ups.
• Paint Mixing: Mix catalysts, maintain viscosity, record batch info, label materials.
• Booth Maintenance: Clean booths, replace filters, maintain hoses and pumps.
• Teamwork: Coordinate with cabinet builders, production manager, designers, QC, installers.
• What You'll Finish: Luxury kitchens, vanities, millwork, closets, and more.
