Job summary

Wow Woodbury Chevrolet is actively seeking a skilled Body Shop Class A Technician to join our in-house collision repair team. You will handle advanced structural and cosmetic repairs, assess damage, and help plan high-quality repairs in a fast-paced shop.

This role offers an incentive-based mix of hourly and flat-rate pay, opportunities for growth, and ongoing training. Ideal candidates have Class A or Master certification and I-CAR progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Body Shop environment.
• Class A or Master Body Shop Technician certification (or equivalent).
• I-CAR Certification current or in progress.
• Strong knowledge of structural and unibody repairs.
• Experience with disassembly, repair planning, and reassembly.
• Ability to interpret repair orders and OEM procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced structural, frame, and cosmetic repairs per OEM standards.
• Inspect and document damage and develop repair plans.
• Collaborate with estimators/service advisors on the estimate process.
• Disassemble/reassemble vehicles; ensure accurate repair sequencing.
• Use measuring tools and welding equipment for precise repairs.
• Ensure safety, quality, and manufacturer specifications before delivery.
• Maintain thorough documentation of parts, labor, and hours.
• Mentor less-experienced technicians and share best practices.
• Communicate repair status and needs clearly with the team.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with vehicle tech.
