Job summary

Crystal Mountain in Washington is seeking a MAST Cashier for seasonal employment in the Food & Beverage unit. You will accurately sell food and merchandise, serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, verify guest IDs, and process transactions through the POS system while maintaining compliance with state regulations.

The role requires POS experience, strong guest service, and the ability to work evenings/weekends.

JOB SUMMARY

The MAST Cashier is responsible for the accurate sale of food and merchandise and service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while ensuring compliance with all Washington State liquor, health, and food safety regulations. This position provides efficient, friendly service, verifies guest identification, processes transactions through the point-of-sale system, maintains clean and organized work areas, and keeps beverage displays and inventory stocked throughout the day. MAST Cashiers contribute to a safe, welcoming, and efficient operation by delivering dependable service and supporting the overall success of Crystal Mountain's food and beverage outlets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Serve alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for patrons according to procedures

• Ensure clean equipment and working areas

• Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations

• Restock and replenish inventory and supplies

• Nurture an excellent guest experience

• Comply with all food and beverage regulations as well as the regulations put forth by Washington Health and Liquor Boards

• Check identification of guests to verify they are of legal drinking age

• Accurately ring sales into POS system and process payments

• Respond promptly to requests from customers in a polite and professional manner

• Arrange canned beverage offerings into attractive and functional displays

• Comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards and policies

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

• POS experience

• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

• Ability to set up and keep station organized and clean

• Must have Washington MAST Card

• Must have Washington Food Handler Card

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

• Must be able to maneuver and tap a full ½ barrel keg of up to 160lbs.

• This position is required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays while in operation.

• Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis.

• Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.

• Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.
