The role requires maintaining a Michigan massage therapy license and prior teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication (written and oral) and analytical skills.
• At least a high school diploma or equivalent, some program instructors require further education.
• Must possess and maintain a current Michigan massage therapy license and have two years' documented experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver quality classroom instruction in lecture, clinical, and/or laboratory format.
• Assess student learning using appropriate methods.
• Demonstrate effectiveness with strong outcomes in student retention, success, and attendance.
• Conduct engaging classroom lectures and/or labs based on the course outline.
• Advise students on attendance, grades, and issues to ensure successful completion.
