Job summary

Schweitzer is seeking compassionate Massage Therapists for Cambium Spa at Schweitzer Mountain Resort. Join a Alpine-inspired spa team delivering personalized bodywork to guests after a day on the slopes.

Qualifications

• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) with active license.
• Minimum 5 years massage therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform Swedish, deep tissue, sports, hot stone, and other techniques.
• Customize treatments based on guest needs and conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms between sessions.
• Consult with guests prior to treatment to ensure safety and comfort.
• Recommend follow-up treatments and promote retail wellness products as appropriate.

After long days on the slopes, our guests seek restoration-and we rely on our massage team to provide expert care that leaves them feeling renewed, recharged, and ready for more.Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, hot stone, and other specialty treatments as qualified.Customize treatments based on guest needs, preferences, and physical conditions.Uphold a warm, welcoming, and professional demeanor that enhances each guest’s wellness experience.Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and equipment between sessions.Consult with guests prior to treatment to ensure safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.Recommend follow-up treatments and promote retail wellness products as appropriate.Collaborate with spa team members to ensure a seamless and elevated guest experience.Stay current with industry trends, certificationsSecondary Responsibilities:Keep general spa areas cleanOther duties as assignedSpecific Job Skills:License/Certifications - CPR AED First Aid, Licensed Massage TherapistTechnical - Basic computer, smart phone and applications understanding helpful but not necessary.Physical Capabilities - On feet for up to 8 hours a day. Bending over, lifting up top 25lbs, walking stairs, navigating from parking to spa during all weather and seasons.Additional - Hours and days can be dynamic. Though we try to keep our schedules as consistent as possible, some of our times during the lighter seasons will vary.Education/Related Experience:Minimum education required - High school diploma/GED LMT training & licenseMinimum time in related position - 5 Years
