Are you passionate about training and helping team members reach their full potential? Skin Sense, a day spa located at 6801 Falls of Neuse, is seeking a part-time Massage Therapy Trainer. Position Overview:Do you love teaching advanced modalities and protocols? This highly flexible part-time position involves developing and training our massage therapist team in Skin Sense protocols. We’ll provide the “Train the Trainer” program, along with resources and mentorship, to ensure you succeed in this role.
To ensure the team's success, it’s important that you actively engage by working as a therapist in the spa for at least three shifts per week. Your consistent presence is essential, as being out of sight can lead to being out of mind, which can impact the team's overall effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement effective teaching strategies for all skill levels, fostering a welcoming and positive environment.
Instruct advanced massage modalities and Skin Sense protocols.
Assess and evaluate new massage therapists and potential hires.
Schedule and conduct protocol trainings, culminating in a final test to ensure proficiency.
Collaborate with spa management to develop and revise protocols.
Maintain professional and ethical standards of conduct at all times.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program.
North Carolina Massage License with at least 5 years of experience.
Previous experience teaching massage therapy protocols.
Receptive to training and coaching, with excellent verbal communication skills.
Professional, team-oriented, and passionate about connecting with people and helping them achieve their goals.
Demonstrated ability to teach various skill levels, maximizing individual growth potential.
A love for the spa environment and a strong passion for wellness and teaching.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and adherence to attendance policies.
