Providence Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Washington is seeking a part-time Massage Therapist (8 hours weekly, day shift). Under general direction, therapists use touch to relieve pain, aid rehabilitation, improve circulation, and support the health care team.
Requirements: graduate of an accredited massage therapy school; Washington LMT upon hire; BLS (American Heart Association) upon hire; and 2 years of massage experience.
Under general direction from the Rehabilitation Services Manager, Massage Therapists treat clients by using touch to manipulate the soft-tissue muscles of the body. With their touch, therapists relieve pain, help rehabilitate injuries, improve circulation, relieve stress, increase relaxation, aid in the general wellness of clients and actively participating as a member of the health care team. All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors of the Institute, as well as being a positive representative of the hospital at all times.
