Job summary

Marathon Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time massage therapist to join our multi-location practice. 5-20 hours/week based on ability to service Newton, Dedham, Norwood, Canton, Sharon, and Easton locations.

You will deliver Swedish, Sports, and Deep Tissue massage, maintain a clean workspace, and collaborate with other clinicians to create treatment plans tailored to clients’ needs. The role emphasizes client-focused service, teamwork, and flexible scheduling across locations.

Qualifications

• Must have massage therapy skills in Swedish, Sports, and Deep Tissue modalities.
• Customer-focused with ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
• Ability to promote services and products to clients.
• Willingness to work across multiple locations (Newton, Dedham, Norwood, Canton, Sharon, Easton).
• Licenses/certification/registration per Massachusetts requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean treatment area; ensure client comfort.
• Develop and propose treatment plans outlining massage modalities used.
• Follow health and safety rules and provide aftercare guidance.
• Consult with other health care professionals to coordinate client plans.
• Maintain accurate treatment records.
• Provide references upon request.

Marathon Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is a privately owned, multi-location practice with a staff of physical therapists, massage therapists, athletic trainers, exercise physiologists, , CSCS, and personal trainers with a mission to provide high quality physical therapy along with Health & Wellness programs.

We currently have an opening for a part-time massage therapist to join our dynamic team. 5-20 hours/week based on ability to service single or multiple locations. (Newton/Dedham/Norwood/Canton/Sharon/Easton)

• Develop and propose client treatment plans that specify which types of massage are to be used.
• Follow health and safety rules, and give advice about aftercare.
• Consult with other health care professionals and fitness specialists, such as physical therapists, personal trainers, and athletic trainers, to develop treatment plans for clients.
• Maintain treatment records.
• Licenses / Certifications / Registration according to Massachusetts requirements.

Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients, clinic management and staff. Possesses the ability to promote products, services, and treatments.

Experience preferred, but not required. Must provide professional references.
