Job summary

Serasana Littleton is seeking a Massage Therapist to join our busy Wellness Center. This is a part-time role with flexibility to add hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in therapeutic massage and client assessment.
• Ability to tailor sessions to client needs and medical history.
• Ability to complete SOAP notes after each session.

Responsibilities

• Understand the Serasana wellness model and work with the team to maximize client benefits.
• Provide massages lasting 50–80 minutes for scheduled clients.
• Consult with clients about current needs and health history.
• Guide clients through service offerings and plan treatments including referrals to other services.
• Document histories and complete SOAP notes after sessions.
• Customize sessions for specific complaints and perform routine laundry duties.

Studio Overview
Serasana Littleton is a busy Wellness Center that fuses ancient wellness practices, specializing in stress and pain management, by encouraging regular use of acupuncture, yoga, massage, healing tea and remedies. Beautiful lobby, rooms, Yoga studio and smoothie/tea bar.

Responsibilities

• Understand the Serasana model of health and wellness, and work together with fellow team members to help our clients take full advantage of available offerings.
• Provide massages ranging from 50 to 80 minute services for scheduled clients.
• Consult with clients regarding their current needs, medical history and overall wellness.
• Guide clients through our service offerings.
• Recommend treatment plans that can include suggestions for better health including yoga, acupuncture, meditation, tea, and other remedies to assist clients in their wellness journey.
• Take detailed histories,including information about injuries and chronic health conditions.
• Complete SOAP notes after each session.
• Customize sessions around specific complaints or problem areas.
