The NOW Massage in New York is seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to tailor massage treatments to individual needs and health goals. You will work within a holistic wellness team, leveraging expertise in diverse modalities and anatomy to support clients on their wellness journey.

Responsibilities include performing varied massage techniques, educating clients on benefits, maintaining accurate session records, and scheduling appointments in a clean, safe space.

Qualifications

• Hold current state license and liability insurance to practice massage therapy.

Schedule / Expected Work Hours:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays
• Availability for at least one PM and one-weekend shift (Friday PM counts as a weekend shift).Responsibilities
• Share the healing power of touch to inspire and transform through the benefits of massage therapy. Provide therapeutic massage through a variety of modalities (Prenatal, Sports, Stretching Techniques, etc.) Maintain service room to standards. All supplies are provided.

Full and Part-Time positions available

Will consider qualified candidates beginning their careers in massage therapy who possess the right qualities and demonstrate an innate talent for and understanding of therapeutic massage.

Knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage and other modalities.

Availability during prime earning potential periods including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able to stand and exert well‑paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.

Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill room resetting tasks and all massage service protocols. Requires grasping, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity.

Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
