Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Two years’ experience delivering the Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the role.
  • State of New Mexico Massage Therapist License.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
  • Pre-employment and random drug screening required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide massage and body treatments to guests using professional techniques.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with necessary equipment and supplies for guest comfort and safety.
  • Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms and stock linens and products.
  • Attend required trainings and apply learned information to daily work.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and regular attendance as required by Pueblo of Sandia.

Position SummaryThe Massage Therapist provides our guests with a wide range of therapeutic massages and body treatments. They will consult with guests to screen them for underlying condition adhering to all departmental policies and procedures including sanitation and safety guidelines. All treatments will be delivered with the highest level of service using the latest techniques in massage treatments. Massage Therapist promote and educate guests on current promotions, enhancements/upgrades and retail products to ensure the most memorable experience for our guests.Our philosophy is built on the principles of integrity, fairness, collaboration, communication, and recognition for performance excellence. Meeting all performance standards leads to attracting and retaining a qualified workforce, provide opportunities for qualified team members, and contribute towards the ongoing success at Pueblo of Sandia today and in the future.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides massage and body treatments to guests using the latest professionally accepted techniques.Prior to beginning services, assesses guests needs, inquires about health issues (contraindications), and modifies delivery of services accordingly.Using the Provider Checklist, prepares treatment rooms with necessary equipment and supplies to ensure guest comfort and safety throughout the service.Maintains the cleanliness of treatment rooms, stocks linens, towels, and frequently used product at the end of shift as outlined in the Provider Checklist.Adheres to all confidentiality and proprietary standards as outlined in company and departmental guidelines.Maintains good personal hygiene, and ensures personal appearance and uniform reflect the professional standards outlined in company and departmental policies and procedures.Attends all required training activities (both live and computer-based) and incorporates information learned into daily work activities.Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned schedule each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo of Sandia.Additional ResponsibilitiesDemonstrates strong interpersonal skills in building a cohesive working relationship with co-workers and internal/external contact.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Key Performance IndicatorsThis position has Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) identified as a measurement of success.
