Some functions of what you would do as a Hospice Massage Therapist

• Conduct initial evaluation, assessing & identifying patient’s needs.
• Providescomfort touch massage therapy services to patients in accordance with physician’s orders and the interdisciplinary group (IDG) plan of care with a focus on a hospice and palliative care approach.
• Completes and submits accurate and timely documentation of massage therapy services provided.

A few must-haves for this position:

• Successful completion of post secondary course of study from an accredited/licensed school for Massage Therapy
• One year of Massage Therapy experience required.
• Hospice massage therapy experience preferred.
• Able to travel within a geographic area serviced by office.Valid driver'slicense and proof of auto insurance required.
• CPR Certification required.
