Position Summary

The Massage Therapist provides various massage therapy services and treatments that complement fitness programs, improve overall well-being, and enhance the guest’s fitness experience. They work to build relationships with other departments and educate guests on the benefits of massage therapy. They are responsible for designing sessions based on guests' specific needs and suggesting massage schedules for recurring sessions. They collaborate with the entire LifeSpa and Salon team to deliver a professional and superior experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Greet and serve members in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Provide individualized massage therapy services and treatments tailored to client needs.
3. Develop and maintain personalized relationships with clients.
4. Educate clients on LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments.
5. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the LifeSpa and Salon.
6. Serve as an expert in muscle and body analysis and maintenance regimens.
7. Promote and sell massage therapy services and treatments, encouraging repeat business.
8. Stay current on certifications and industry trends.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Massage Therapy License
• Ability to perform various massage therapy services and treatments
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, and proportions
• Knowledge of basic PC operating skills
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, lift, and move up to 50 pounds

Preferred Requirements

• At least 2 years of massage experience in a professional environment
• Knowledge of body treatments
• Experience with Salon Biz software

Pay: This position earns commissions between 35% and 70%, depending on product and productivity. The weekly minimum pay will be the applicable minimum wage per hour.
