The G Salon and Spa is seeking a Massage Therapist to provide exceptional massage and spa treatments with professionalism and hospitality to guests in a luxury spa setting.
Candidates must maintain up-to-date massage therapy licenses, carry proper insurance, and demonstrate continuing education. Experience in a spa or luxury hotel environment is preferred; in-room services are part of the role.
Massage Therapist position is for an individual able to provide exceptional massage and spa treatments with the highest levels of professionalism, a customized approach, and over-the-top hospitality to guests. Your role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.
All licenses, insurance cards, and health code standards must be provided and in up-to-date good standing. The individual must be able to stand for long periods of time, as well as lift and move a portable massage bed.
Please note spa services are performed on hotel guests ONLY and are in-room and within safety regulations. Major areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Position requires walking and standing for long periods of time. This is a very physical type of work that varies depending on the client; must be able to exert well-paced mobility. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task. Must be able to reach different outlets and other departments of the hotel on a timely basis. Must be able to work in limited space. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. occasionally. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing ability, and visual acuity. Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and other teammates. Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception. Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. Open communication between departments is necessary to enhance the guest experience.
