Job summary

The Trust for Public Land in the United States seeks a Massachusetts State Program Director to supervise the strategy, design, and implementation of Parks for People programs in Massachusetts, and to pursue land protection opportunities that advance healthy, livable communities.

The role centers on expanding equitable access to nature by partnering with communities, nonprofits, and government agencies, and ensuring long-term stewardship of parks and green spaces.

The Massachusetts State Program Director will oversee the strategy, design, and implementation of new and existing Parks for People programs in Massachusetts, along with land protection opportunities to deliver on our mission of creating parks and protecting land for people, ensuring healthy, livable communities for generations to come.

COMPENSATION

As a full-time, exempt employee, you will be eligible for TPL’s comprehensive benefits program which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, vacation, 10+ holidays, personal and community service days, paid winter break and a 403(b) retirement plan, currently with an up to 5.5% company match. The salary range for this role is $95,000-115,000, and offers are commensurate with experience.
