- Evaluate patients to determine rehab potential, identify needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and set goals within the team plan of care
- Establish short-term and long-term goals
- Utilize and maintain equipment safely, including inspection, maintenance, and logs
- Follow medical regimens and adhere to safety precautions (e.g., THR, TKR, cardiac, wound care)
- Apply safe treatment techniques such as transfers, positioning, splinting, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation
- Complete discharge summaries for each patient at the final visit
- Current Physical Therapist licensure in the state of practice
- CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation or public transit
