Job summary

M&J Engineering P.C. in Massachusetts seeks a Construction Services Manager – Massachusetts / Senior Resident Engineer with deep public infrastructure experience to lead field assignments and build a high-performing Massachusetts construction engineering, inspection and management team.

You will manage projects for MassDOT, MBTA and municipalities, supervise REs and field staff, coordinate with owners and contractors, and contribute to proposals and staffing strategies.

Qualifications

• Significant public‑infrastructure construction experience in Massachusetts.
• Experience leading senior resident engineers or construction managers.
• Direct experience with public owners and multi‑discipline project teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Senior Resident Engineer or Construction Manager on public infrastructure assignments.
• Lead construction administration, engineering and field inspection services for public owners.
• Manage field teams and coordinate contractors, designers, owners, utilities and other stakeholders.
• Oversee documentation, QA/QC, safety practices and issue resolution.
• Manage costs, schedules, changes and claims documentation in the construction phase.
• Support mobilization, staffing plans, inspections, testing and turnover processes.
