Job summary

NextWave Resources is seeking a seasoned litigation professional to manage mass tort/MDL dockets at a plaintiff firm. You will own real case responsibility from day one, handling intake through resolution for active claimants across nationwide matters.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of mass tort or MDL experience at a plaintiff firm.
• Direct, hands-on experience preparing Plaintiff Fact Sheets and curing deficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage a docket of active mass tort claimants from intake through resolution, tracking case status, deadlines, and required filings.
• Prepare, review, and submit Plaintiff Fact Sheets, Census Registry forms, and Short Form Complaints in accordance with applicable Case Management Orders.
• Respond to deficiency notices and manage cure periods, coordinating with clients, vendors, and co-counsel to close out defects before deadlines lapse.
• Order, track, and review medical, billing, pharmacy, employment, and military/service records; escalate gaps and follow up with providers.
• Build medical chronologies and case summaries; identify product identification, injury, and statute of limitations issues.
• Maintain client contact throughout the life of the case, including outreach campaigns for document collection and records authorizations.
• Keep case management software current and accurate — case status, deadlines, contact logs, and document indexing.
• Navigate MDL portals and court filing systems for submissions and status verification.
• Coordinate with co-counsel, referring firms, litigation support vendors, and records retrieval services.
• Assist attorneys with discovery responses, deposition preparation materials, and settlement documentation.
• Support lien identification and resolution at the settlement stage.

ABOUT THE FIRM: We are a plaintiff-side litigation firm handling multidistrict litigation (MDL) and mass tort matters nationwide. Our active dockets include pharmaceutical product liability, environmental exposure and toxic tort, sexual assault and institutional abuse litigation, and social media harm claims.

We run lean, document everything through written protocols, and use technology aggressively — including AI-assisted workflows — so our team can manage volume without sacrificing case quality. This is a hands-on role on a high-volume docket. The person we hire will own real case responsibility from day one.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
