Job summary

L&W Recruiting, Inc., a New Jersey firm, seeks a mass tort/class action associate to handle matters from intake through resolution. You will draft pleadings, handle depositions, and liaise with clients and experts on science-heavy claims in state and federal court.

Requirements include NJ bar admission and 3+ years in mass tort/class action or plaintiff personal injury; NY admission or transferable UBE score is a plus. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Middlesex County.

This is not document review. You will carry files, appear, and build.

What You Will Do

Work up mass tort and class action matters from intake through resolution. Draft pleadings, discovery and motions in New Jersey state and federal court. Take and defend depositions. Work directly with clients and experts on science-heavy claims. Contribute to case selection and litigation strategy.

What You Have

Three or more years in mass tort, class action or plaintiff personal injury. New Jersey bar admission is required. New York admission, or a transferable UBE score, is a strong plus but not a requirement. Comfort in both state and federal practice. A science or medical background is a plus, not a prerequisite.

Compensation: $150,000 to $165,000 base, plus discretionary and origination bonus, with full benefits.
