Job summary

Flaherty Sensabaugh Bonasso PLLC is seeking a full-time Associate Litigation Attorney in our Charleston, WV office. The ideal candidate will handle mass litigation matters including MDLs and class actions, managing high-volume caseloads with precision and efficiency.

Requirements include a J.D. from an accredited law school, active West Virginia Bar status, and 2–3+ years of litigation experience with emphasis on mass litigation.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with the West Virginia Bar.
• 2-3+ years of litigation experience with emphasis on mass litigation.
• Experience with MDLs, class actions, or large-scale product liability litigation preferred.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of litigation from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
