Job summary

Fifth Third Bank seeks a Relationship Manager to grow and retain Preferred Program and mass affluent customers. You will proactively contact clients, assess needs, and deliver solutions with a consultative sales approach, leveraging the Retail Consultative Sales process and collaborating with center teams.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent.
• Experience in a sales environment; experience in financial industry.
• Pass consultative selling skills certification and ongoing educational requirements.
• Series SIE, 6, 63 and insurance licenses required; Series 65 within 90 days for external hires.
• Ability to build and maintain a revenue-producing book of business in the mass affluent segment.
• Professional image for public contact.
• Role may involve local travel to Financial Centers.
• SAFE Act registration via NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Execute on retail strategies to increase Preferred Program households and meet goals.
• Build deep relationships with customers to earn trusted-advisor status via consultative sales and service process.
• Communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.
• Support the sales and referral process with Financial Center team and partners, focusing on Preferred customers.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services and request development as needed.
• Meet or exceed investment sales and referral goals with Investment Executive.
• Initiate and maintain contact with customers and prospects via multiple channels.
• Stay informed on business and economic trends to anticipate customer needs and tailor solutions.
