Qualifications

• Completion of an approved masonry apprenticeship.
• An equivalent combination of experience and training including one year of journey-level masonry.

Responsibilities

• Instruction Delivery: Teach masonry practices through classroom lessons and hands-on training.
• Work Supervision: Direct inmate work crews, maintain order, and review completed masonry assignments.
• Training Records: Track inmate progress, attendance, and assignment details for all training activities.
• Tool Management: Issue, inventory, and account for all tools and materials used in training and work projects.
• Material Planning: Determine materials needed for masonry tasks and submit purchase requests when required.
• Safety Oversight: Conduct searches, enforce safety rules, and support secure handling of tools and materials.
