Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2–4 years masonry/construction experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Experience with masonry and concrete construction; ability to read basic plans.
• Physically able to perform outdoor, demanding work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Measure height, width, length, and other proportions; source materials.
• Work with blueprints or supervisor instructions.
• Use hand and power tools; work from ladders, staging, and man lifts.
• Mix mortar, grout, and concrete to correct consistency; hand or mechanical mixers.
• Transport bricks, blocks, stones, and other heavy supplies to work areas.
• Build, move, and dismantle scaffolding; set up safety barriers or basic forms.
• Cut bricks, blocks, and tiles to required dimensions with hand tools or masonry saws.
• Remove debris, scrap materials, and excess mortar from tools and site.
