Job summary

Techno is seeking a Construction Inspector to support infrastructure and capital improvement projects in Maryland. The ideal candidates will inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with applicable codes, safety regulations, project drawings, and technical specifications.

This role involves field inspections of bridges, utilities, structural systems, and other infrastructure, with tunnel construction experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant construction inspection experience.
• Knowledge of construction codes, standards and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project drawings/specifications.
• Inspect bridges, utilities infrastructures, and structural systems for proper installation and functionality.
• Document deviations and recommend corrective actions; prepare inspection reports.
• Collaborate with project teams and provide guidance to contractors and construction personnel.
