Job summary

HOKALI is seeking an After School Enrichment Educator in Selma, CA to supervise and engage students during after-school programming. You will create safe, supportive learning moments and lead activities that complement learning. The role suits educators who enjoy dynamic environments and positive reinforcement.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–5:30 PM, with a program end date of June 4, 2027. Compensation is $30 per hour, with opportunities to contribute ideas and adapt lesson plans to fit

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to complete 3 hours of online training prior to the start date (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR).
• Authorization to work in the US.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Elementary or Middle school students.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and lead engaging recreational activities.
• Assist students with homework and academic support as needed.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and teamwork.
• Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement.
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
• Organise and oversee snack time and outdoor play.
• Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping spaces clean and safe.

After School Enrichment Educator

This role focuses on supervising and engaging students during after-school enrichment programming. It’s ideal for educators who enjoy a dynamic environment and are passionate about creating safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences.

Schedule & Compensation

The program runs until June 4 2027.

Monday through Friday, 2PM to 5.30 PM

Compensation

• $30 / hour
