Job Summary

Processes involuntary papers with the probate courts(s) and place all necessary paperwork in the patients’ chart. Completes and retains paperwork required for the job. Assigns designated examiners and communicates necessary deadlines. Coordinates and organizes court hearings with all involved parties. Communicates court hearing outcomes to hospital staff, probate court and local mental health centers.

• Organizes and coordinates attorney access to patients and clinically necessary information

• Assists in front lobby coverage

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• This is a non-management job and will report to supervisor, manager, director or executive.
