Job summary

OWT Global, based in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the Modular Autonomous Response System (MARS) at Wright-Patterson AFB. The FSE will provide operational, technical, training, integration, and sustainment support for MARS capabilities, including sUAS, TAK, and C5ISR components.

The role requires independent work, travel 20–30% and collaboration with government leadership, engineers, and program offices to ensure system readiness and expansion across locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in military, DoD, or government mission environments.
• Experience with sUAS, TAK, airspace management, or C5ISR systems.
• Ability to translate technical information into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline preferred.
• Willingness to travel 20–30%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME supporting MARS operations, training, sustainment, and capability development.
• Support installation, configuration, integration, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and sustainment of MARS systems.
• Provide technical and operational support for sUAS, TAK, communications, airspace management, autonomy, and related technologies.
• Support training and qualification of MARS operators, sUAS pilots, and other mission personnel.
• Assist with planning and execution of operational exercises, demonstrations, system testing, and evaluations.
• Coordinate with Air Force organizations, installation personnel, program offices, research organizations, technical partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Provide input to Government leadership regarding system performance, readiness, gaps, and future requirements.
• Support expansion and fielding of MARS capabilities at additional Air Force locations.
