The General Manager is a polished, well-spoken, and well-regarded ambassador with a strong vision for their hotel. They are responsible for all aspects of operations at their property, providing support, supervision, and guidance to the management team and front-line associates. The role involves ensuring financial performance is optimized, maintaining high-quality product and service levels, and operating in compliance with applicable regulations, company, and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Establish priorities and lead operational initiatives such as sales planning, budget development, and property improvements.
2. Provide hands-on leadership to maximize revenue and control expenses.
3. Serve as the primary communication link with guests, clients, associates, ownership, corporate, brand representatives, and vendors.
4. Manage a team, typically directing at least 2 full-time associates, with duties involving administrative, executive, or professional tasks more than 50% of the time, exercising discretion and independent judgment.
