Job summary

Tommy Bahama in Fort Lauderdale is seeking team members to join our growing island-inspired food and beverage operations. You will be part of a collaborative team behind the scenes and at guest touchpoints, with opportunities to grow as our brand expands.

You’ll work in a supportive, professional environment with safety and sanitation as top priorities, ensuring culinary standards and presentation are consistently met while helping meet financial objectives.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for long periods.
• Must follow safety and sanitation programs and maintain cleanliness.
• Be knowledgeable about equipment such as blenders, knives, and wine keys.
• Shifts are scheduled based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in a team environment that promotes financial and culinary success.
• Follow applicable safety and sanitation programs for the restaurant, team members, and guests.
• Possess complete knowledge and timely execution of all food menus/recipes – including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation
• Assist in meeting financial expectations (i.e., food cost, food efficiencies, labor costs, and direct kitchen expenses).
• Help create a clean, safe, professional and upbeat environment

• Safely Maneuvering the following types of equipment or machinery: Hand cart, blenders, knives, slices, wine keys and other tools provided to complete work
• Scheduled shifts determined by business needs
