Job summary

Tommy Bahama in King of Prussia seeks an enthusiastic hospitality teammate to bring the island spirit to guests and ensure memorable service. You will learn the full food and beverage menus, including ingredients and preparation, and showcase knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Successful candidates will lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long shifts, and follow state and federal alcohol service laws.

Qualifications

• Lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently.
• Routine standing for duration of shift.
• Safely maneuvering equipment such as hand carts, blenders, knives, wine keys.

Responsibilities

• Bring the island spirit to life by making every guest feel at home.
• Possess complete knowledge of all food and beverage menus – including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.
• Possess knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits.
• Verify proper government-issued identification when alcohol is ordered as required by law.
• Maintain proper stock levels of perishables and spirits according to projected business.
• Help create a clean, safe, professional and upbeat environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Bring the island spirit to life by making every guest feel at home


• Possess complete knowledge of all food and beverage menus – including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.


• Possess knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits


• Verify proper government‑issued identification of Guests when alcohol is ordered as required by state and federal law


• Maintain proper stock levels (including inventory control and ordering) of perishables and spirits according to projected business


• Help create a clean, safe, professional and upbeat environment

REQUIREMENTS

• Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently


• Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently


• Routine standing for duration of shift


• Safely Maneuvering the following types of equipment or machinery: Hand cart, blenders, knives, slices, wine keys and other tools provided to complete work


• Scheduled shifts determined by business needs
