Job summary

Referment is seeking a Thought Leadership Associate to join its external communications team. You’ll manage substantive content from idea to publication, collaborating with investment researchers, technologists and colleagues across investor relations, media communications, and legal/compliance.

The role blends analytical research, editorial judgement and project delivery beyond pure copywriting. You’ll develop and refine white papers, speaking materials, and presentations, turning complex ideas

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; 2–5 years’ experience in work combining research, analytical thinking, writing and project management.
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with exacting standards.
• Ability to analyse unfamiliar subjects rigorously, think critically and learn quickly.
• Collaborative style; confident across disciplines and levels of seniority.
• Proactive in moving multi-stakeholder projects forward.

Responsibilities

• Manage drafting and review of white papers, speaking materials, presentations and shorter-form content.
• Collaborate with investment researchers, technologists and colleagues across investor relations, media communications, and legal/compliance.
• Coordinate approvals across investor relations, media, and legal/compliance.
• Develop and deliver projects to improve sourcing, production and amplification of content.
• Build relationships across the business to uncover topics and develop executable thought-leadership ideas.
