Nationwide is seeking an Economics Specialist to support research and analysis of macro and industry data, providing insights to senior economists and the investment team. You will develop economic models, maintain charts and tables, and communicate findings to internal partners.

The role focuses on econometrics, programming (Python/Stata/Eviews), and applying AI/ML to enhance workflows. You will have opportunities to engage with leadership and help inform important business and investment

Competenze

• Undergraduate degree in economics, finance, public policy, or related field; graduate degree preferred.
• Typically three or more years in economics, macroeconomic research, or related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex analysis clearly.
• Experience with econometrics and programming in Python/Stata/EViews.

Mansioni

• Provides research assistance, including creating economic charts and tables for forecasts and analysis.
• Conducts research on economic data and trends to support forecasts and analyses using software and databases.
• Gathers, analyzes, monitors, and disseminates information on housing, agriculture, autos, manufacturing, and more.
• Creates communications to share research findings with internal business units and partners.
• Assists in content development for Nationwide Economics publications and podcasts.
