Job summary

Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. seeks a Markets Data Steward to lead the Markets Data Domain, overseeing data across Front Office and Operations including Fixed Income, Equities, FX, Futures and Derivatives.

You will drive data strategy, governance, and quality initiatives, partnering with Technology and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact data solutions. You will manage Data Stewards and Data Quality Analysts, own data definitions, lineage, metadata, and ensure regulatory and enterprise

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a management role (Dir/ExecDir) with 3+ years in Data Quality and Data Management.
• Experience with data design, data audit, data governance and Markets technology platforms is a plus.
• Experience supporting Sales & Trading, Market Operations, Middle Office, Product Control, Market Risk or related functions is preferred.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management principles.

Responsibilities

• Translate enterprise and Markets business strategies into actionable data management plans for the Markets Data Domain.
• Lead data initiatives by defining business cases, gathering requirements, and prioritizing projects.
• Establish and maintain processes aligned with Enterprise Data Policy and Standards for Markets data.
• Oversee access and provisioning of Markets data and ensure compliance with Data Service Agreements and regulatory standards.
• Act as a change agent to promote data-driven culture and ownership across Markets functions.
