Job summary

Citi in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, is seeking an experienced professional for the Markets Risk & Controls team to implement preventative booking controls. The role focuses on front-office booking integrity, regulatory adherence, and collaboration with technology, sales/trading, and operations.

The successful candidate will bring knowledge of markets products, risk controls, and change-management experience, with a pro-active, issue-driven approach.

Qualifications

• University degree in a related field.
• Experience in Markets business management, operational risk, middle office, technology or other control function.
• Strong knowledge of Markets traded products and related control principles.
• Experience working with technology teams and change management processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Risk and controls mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• In-depth analysis of booking processes across multiple applications.
• Define business requirements for proposed controls to meet regulatory commitments and business objectives.
• Collaborate effectively with Sales/Trading, Technology, Operations and other functions.
• Ensure delivered functionality meets business requirements.
• Plan and execute go-live of new controls with minimal disruption.
• Contribute to project management activities governing controls implementation.
• Investigate control failures and drive control enhancements.
