Career Summary:

The Marketing Writer will play a key role in crafting compelling, engaging, and strategic content that supports the mission of the American Nurses Enterprise (ANE) and its three entities—the American Nurses Association (ANA), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and the American Nurses Foundation (ANF).

Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Communications & Marketing, this role will develop a wide range of marketing and branded content that informs, inspires, and engages nurses across all career stages. The ideal candidate is a versatile storyteller who is both strategic and creative with a strong understanding of brand voice, and the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging, and actionable messaging.

Essential Job Functions:

Content Creation & Brand Storytelling:

• Develop high-quality content across multiple channels, including emails, website copy,

newsletters, social media, video scripts, and marketing collateral.

• Craft compelling narratives that elevate ANA & ANF’s advocacy, ANCC products,

education, certification, and career development initiatives.

• Ensure all content aligns with ANE’s brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelines.

Marketing & Campaign Support:

• Write persuasive copy for integrated marketing campaigns that drive engagement, brand

affinity, and programmatic registrations.

• Develop creative messaging for ANE initiatives, including professional development

programs, certifications, advocacy efforts, and fundraising campaigns.

• Collaborate with designers, program managers and stakeholders to create engaging, high-

impact on marketing assets.

SEO & Digital Content Optimization:

• Optimize digital content for search engines (SEO) to increase visibility and engagement.
• Develop email subject lines, headlines, and social media posts and captions that drive clicks

and conversions.

• Stay current on best practices in content marketing, social media, and digital storytelling.

Cross-Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with marketing, communications, and product teams to develop messaging

that resonates with ANE’s diverse nursing audience.

• Support content needs across ANE’s website, digital platforms, and membership

communications.

NOTE: The role may require occasional after-hours or weekend support based on business needs

What You Bring To American Nurses Enterprise :

• 3-5 years of experience in marketing writing, content marketing, or related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing engaging, high-quality marketing content.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
• Proficiency in SEO best practices and digital content strategy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
