Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering (Marketing Technology) to lead a team delivering scalable marketing platforms, integrations, and digital capabilities.

You will partner with Marketing, CRM, Digital Commerce, and Technology teams to prioritize work, drive reliable software delivery, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards; strong leadership and cloud/API experience required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading software engineering teams in a complex technology environment.
• Experience with Marketing Technology, CRM, customer engagement, marketing automation, or related digital customer experience platforms.
• Strong understanding of modern application architectures, APIs, integrations, cloud services, and software delivery practices.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to deliver cross-functional technology initiatives and drive successful outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of software engineers for Marketing Technology platforms, integrations, and digital capabilities.
• Partner with Marketing, CRM, Digital Commerce, Product, and Technology stakeholders to prioritize work and align delivery with business objectives.
• Guide delivery of complex initiatives spanning customer engagement platforms, e-commerce systems, cloud services, APIs, and enterprise applications.
• Facilitate technical discussions across engineering disciplines, helping teams evaluate tradeoffs, dependencies, risks, and solution approaches.
• Foster DevOps, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the team.
