Job summary

Columbia Sportswear is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering in Portland to lead a team delivering Marketing Technology platforms, CRM, and e-commerce integrations. You will drive technical strategy, mentor engineers, and partner with Marketing, Digital, Product, and Architecture to align delivery with business goals.

You will champion scalable, secure solutions, DevOps practices, and asset that accelerate customer engagement across channels.

Qualifications

5+ years leading software engineering teams in a complex technology environment.
Experience supporting Marketing Technology, CRM, customer engagement, marketing automation, or related digital customer experience platforms.
Strong understanding of modern application architectures, APIs, cloud services, and software delivery practices.
Experience partnering with business stakeholders to deliver cross-functional technology initiatives and drive successful outcomes.
Familiarity with technologies and platforms such as Zeta, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, .NET, Node.js, Azure, AWS, or similar solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

Lead software engineering team across Marketing Technology platforms, integrations, and digital capabilities.
Partner with Marketing, CRM, Digital Commerce, Product, and Technology stakeholders to prioritize work and align delivery with business objectives.
Deliver complex initiatives spanning customer engagement platforms, e-commerce systems, cloud services, APIs, and enterprise applications.
Facilitate architectural discussions across engineering disciplines, evaluating tradeoffs and dependencies.
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
