Job description

In-Person, Middle Georgia (Macon / Warner Robins / Perry) Full-time Starting at $40,000/year (more based on skills) + clear growth path

Unknown Media House is not a typical marketing agency. We build complete marketing systems for businesses earning $3M+ in revenue. That means strategy, content, ads, SEO, email, automation, and follow-up all working together to drive real growth.

Most agencies sell pieces. We build the machine.

Our goal is simple: help businesses grow faster through better systems and better execution. We produce high-volume, high-performance work across platforms every single day. Everything we do is designed to drive attention, trust, and revenue for our clients.

The Role

The Digital Marketing Assistant is the support engine behind our marketing managers and account managers. Our managers run client strategy, campaigns, and relationships. They decide what needs to happen and why. Your job is to help them get it done.

This is a learning role for someone hungry to break into agency life and grow fast inside one of the fastest-growing teams in the industry. You'll get hands-on exposure to every part of how a real marketing system runs: social, email, ads, web, SEO, reporting, and more, all under the direct mentorship of experienced managers.

If you do this role well, your career compounds quickly. We promote from within, and the assistants who execute consistently become coordinators, specialists, and managers.

Who You'll Work With

You'll directly support our Marketing Managers and Account Managers across multiple client accounts. They'll assign your work, review your output, and coach you as you grow. You'll also collaborate with our content, video, ads, and design teams on day-to-day execution.

You are not expected to run anything alone. You are expected to learn, execute, and improve fast.

What You'll Help With
Social Media Support
  • Help managers post and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X
  • Format and resize content for each platform under manager's direction
  • Draft caption options for managers to review and approve
  • Monitor comments and inboxes; flag anything that needs a manager's response
  • Track what's posting and confirm it goes live correctly
Email Marketing Support
  • Help managers build and schedule email campaigns and newsletters
  • Load lists, manage tags, and clean up audience data as directed
  • QA every email for typos, broken links, and formatting issues before sending
  • Pull basic email performance metrics for managers to review
Paid Ads Support
  • Help the ads team upload creative and copy into Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads
  • Run pre-launch checks on campaigns as part of a manager-led quality assurance process
  • Pull ad performance data and organize it into the formats managers request
Website & Landing Page Support
  • Make small website edits as assigned (copy swaps, image updates, blog uploads)
  • Help managers proofread landing pages across devices before they go live
  • Check tracking under the manager's direction
Local SEO & Google Business Profile Support
  • Post weekly GBP updates, photos, and offers based on manager-provided content
  • Help maintain local citations and directory listings
  • Apply on-page SEO basics (meta titles, descriptions, alt tags) as instructed
CRM & Data Hygiene
  • Keep CRM data clean, tagged, and current
  • Run audits to catch broken automations or stale records
  • Flag issues to managers; help fix them under their direction
Reporting Support
  • Pull weekly and monthly data from GA4, Meta Ads, Google Ads, CallRail, GBP, and similar platforms
  • Compile raw numbers into the report templates managers use with clients
  • Flag anything that looks wrong or unusual
Asset & Workflow Management
  • Keep content, creative, and brand assets organized and labeled
  • Maintain folder structures and file libraries
  • Make sure nothing gets lost, duplicated, or misplaced
  • Work fluently inside Asana, Slack, and our other team tools
Quality Control on Your Own Work
  • Double-check everything you touch before passing it to a manager for review
  • Catch typos, broken links, wrong CTAs, and brand standard violations on your own work
  • Take feedback from managers and the team and apply it accordingly
What We're Looking For
  • 0–2 years of experience in marketing, social media, communications, or a related field
  • Strong written communication and basic copywriting skills
  • Organized, process-driven, and comfortable working from checklists and operating procedures
  • Able to take direction, ask the right questions, and execute quickly
  • Hungry to learn the entire marketing machine, not just one piece of it
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple managers handing you work
  • Have used Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Mailchimp, or any major social/email/CRM tool
  • Have agency, internship, or freelance marketing experience
  • Have personal social media accounts you've built or grown
  • Understand what makes content perform (hooks, structure, CTAs)
  • Have basic skills in design tools or short-form video editing
What Success Looks Like
  • Managers trust you to deliver tasks on time, every time
  • Your work comes back from review with fewer notes each week
  • You ask the right questions, learn fast, and minimize mistakes over time
  • You proactively flag issues instead of waiting for them to be found down the line
  • After 12 months, you're operating closer to a coordinator level, and getting promoted reflects that
Location

In-person, full-time at our Middle Georgia office.

Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Macon / Warner Robins / Perry area.

Compensation & Growth
  • Starting at $40,000/year (more based on skills)
  • Performance-based raises as you take on more responsibility
  • Strong assistants typically move into a coordinator role within 12–18 months, with meaningful pay increases
  • The opportunity to join a rapidly growing team
Our Core Values

Our core values are not just words. They are how we operate every day. The right person for this role will align with these naturally.

Extreme Ownership of Outcomes

We own the number, not the excuse. When something isn't working, we don't blame the client, the algorithm, or the market. We raise our hand, fix it, and make it better. If you like taking responsibility instead of pointing fingers, you'll fit right in.

Scoreboard Over Stories

We care about what works, not what sounds smart. Campaigns, content, and ideas live or die by the data: leads, booked calls, revenue. You come to meetings knowing your numbers and ready to improve them.

Do the Boring Work

Great marketing is built on unsexy reps done right: follow-ups, QA, reporting, speed-to-lead. We show up, run the play, and do it again. If you're allergic to discipline and routine, this is the wrong team.

Always Coachable

Feedback is a gift, not an attack. We ask for it, listen to it, and change fast. You can role-play, be corrected, and try again without getting defensive. Ego is optional here. Growth is not.

Raise the Standard

We're proud of the work we ship and we're always tightening it. We call out sloppy thinking, weak creative, and missed details, in ourselves first, then in each other. The bar moves up over time, not down.

What you do when no one is looking matters most.

No Lead Left Behind (Client First)

Every lead we generate for a client represents real money and real trust. We build systems and campaigns that respect that: fast responses, clear follow-up, and relentless improvement. We win when our clients win, and we act like it every day.

Who This Is NOT For
  • You struggle with organization or miss deadlines
  • You struggle with feedback or being coached
  • You want a slow-paced environment
  • You need constant supervision but don't take direction well
  • You only want to do "the fun creative stuff"
Who This IS For
  • You want to break into agency life and learn from people who deliver results
  • You take direction well and execute fast
  • You take pride in doing small things right, even when nobody is watching
  • You want to grow into a coordinator or manager role within 1–2 years
  • You're hungry, coachable, and willing to put in the work
This is not a "post and chill" job.

This is the role for someone who wants to learn the entire marketing machine by working alongside managers who are actually running it. The assistants who do this well become the next generation of UMH leaders. If that's you, apply.
